Dumburumba Soothing Bush Soap
Dumburumba (Native Sandalwood) Soothing Bush Medicine soap – Large, includes Dumburumba leaves that are picked from the trees that grow near the beach. The leaves are boiled and traditionally they are used for treating sores, cuts, stings and skin rashes. The revitalising fragrance of Peppermint Oil (100% Organic) is known for cooling the skin and soothing the muscles.
About the Makers
Warnindilyakwa women of the Groote Eylandt Archipelago and speak their own language, Anindilyakwa. They hunt bush tucker and bush medicine and are proud of their culture. They use native produce as well as other materials to make our range of body products. Their small, not-for-profit indigenous enterprise and our sales support the business to grow stronger, for our women, our culture and our communities.
