I’M GOING ON HOLIDAYS, CAN I STOP MY ITEMS BEING ON SALE OR SUSPEND MY STORE WHILE I AM AWAY?

Yes, everyone needs a break now and then! Suspending your store is as easy as ticking a box here and this puts your store in Holiday Mode.

Holiday Mode is to be used when you are taking some time away from your business so that you can communicate to your customers that you are taking a break. You will no longer be able to accept orders until you turn Holiday Mode off. Just remember to fulfill you existing orders before you go!

To put your shop in Holiday Mode, go to your account. Enter a brief message to replace your normal Shop Announcement while you are away. Your items will be removed from search results, but will still appear in buyers’ favourite lists with a message indicating you are currently away. While your store is in holiday mode customers will not be able to buy your items.

When you return from Holidays, don’t forget to turn off Holiday Mode, by simply selecting ‘Turn Off Holiday Mode’ in Account Status.

CAN I TEMPORARILY HIDE OR SUSPEND MY BRAND STORE?

If you would like to temporarily hide or suspend your First Nations Gifts store, that’s ok, we know businesses sometimes experience disruptions or interruptions that are not avoidable!

In this case we request that you email us at [email protected] before suspending your store so that we can check the status of any outstanding orders. We will then ‘hide’ your brand until you are ready to restart trading.

HOW DO I PERMANENTLY REMOVE MY BRAND?

You can cancel your brand presence and all products on First Nations Gifts at anytime. We request that you email [email protected] before cancelling your store, as you will not be able to remove your store if you have outstanding orders and payments due to you.

We can of course, hide your brand so no further orders are taken until all orders have been finalised.

HOW DO I CUSTOMISE MY BRAND ON FIRST NATIONS GIFTS?

Go to Edit XXXXX. You can then customise the various elements:
Storefront
Logo
Products
About Us profile
Social networks
Listings

HOW DO I PROMOTE MY BRAND?

We strongly encourage all brands to link their store on First Nations Gifts to any social media accounts, this enables brands to promote to their network and also drive traffic to their products on the site.

If you are posting any relevant content on Social Media use the following tags: #firstnationsgifts, #originalgiftsbyoriginalpeoples

You can also promote your brand on the First Nations Gifts homepage on the site. This helps your customers find you and your products and opens your brand to newer audiences.

HOW DO I CHANGE THE NAME OF MY BRAND?

To change the name of your brand you need to request a name change by contacting us at [email protected].

If you change the name of your brand, your brand pages and product links may have new URLs, so you should also update these links on your personal sites and any social media.
