HOW DOES STRIPE WORK?

With Stripe, you can start accepting credit and debit card payments almost instantly. You can either create a new Stripe account or connect an existing Stripe account if you already have one

HOW DOES STRIPE TRANSFER FUNDS TO ME AS A VENDOR?

Payments we accept with Stripe are transferred to your bank account on a rolling basis. Funds are available to withdraw 2-7 days after receipt, depending on your region. You can set the frequency of these transfers from Stripe to your bank account in the Transfers tab of your Stripe dashboard. From there, you can also view all transfers from Stripe to your bank account.

HOW DO I TRACK PAYMENTS FOR SALES OF MY PRODUCTS?

Your Stripe Dashboard lets you view payments from us, manage refunds, transfers to your account, and more.

If you have a Stripe account, login here: https://dashboard.stripe.com.

HOW DO REFUNDS WORK?

The way Stripe makes a refund will depend on when you created your account:

  • If you created your account after 14/09/2017: If you refund an order, the Stripe fees paid to accept the payment will not be refunded. The First Nations Gifts commission will still be refunded, to ensure this, refund the item or item plus shipping through your Seller Account.
  • If you created your account before 14/09/2017: If you refund an order in Stripe, the Stripe fees paid to accept the payment will be refunded in your account. To ensure the First Nations Gifts commission is correctly refunded, please ensure you refund the item or items plus the amount for shipping through your Seller Account.

DISPUTES & FRAUD PREVENTION TOOLS

To learn about the dispute process and how Stripe handles disputes, visit Stripe’s documentation.

Stripe provides several tools to minimise fraud losses and to help businesses determine if a transaction is fraudulent. These include tools that allow Stripe to auto-reject suspicious transactions and notify you of questionable charges so that you can make the most informed decision possible as to whether accept a charge. There are also a few tools that you can implement in your own Stripe account, including CVC or AVS checks

Additionally, Stripe works with its financial partners and credit card networks to monitor fraud globally. You can find out more about spotting and preventing fraudulent transactions here and in Stripe’s fraud prevention guide
