the colours and shapes of the landscape.
Description
Taungurung Biik translates to ‘me, land’. At the core of my being is biik and having a connection to the landscape
where my Ancestors have lived and cared for Country over thousands of years. My Elders have taught me my Creation Stories that connect me with biik, baan (waterways) and woora woora (sky).
This original Aboriginal art design was designed by Annette Sax, Taungurung Badjur (woman) who is inspired by
stories and gifts from Taungurung Country.

in Kathmandu, Nepal. Yarn Strong Sista works ethically with organisations who are
committed to social justice, where fair wages are paid, and women and families
are supported through education and global economic empowerment.
