You can realise your artwork, creative design or branding in two-dimensional form. Select different base materials in cotton canvas, organic cotton, linen or Belgian cotton/linen depending on the needs of your brand and customers.

You can create a range of purses/pouches in different sizes and for different purposes in either single-colour process or as a full colour to fit your traval, childrens, womens accessories product ranges.

What do I need to know before ordering?

You will need to choose the following...

1. CHOOSE YOUR MATERIAL FOR YOUR PURSE

Cotton – A natural organic cotton with a white (as shown) base colour and fine weave surface it produces good saturation. Great for artwork with fine detail. Lightweight material, is functional and affordable. A cold machine wash and line dry is recommended to reduce fading. Average purse price range from $9-19. Organic certified cotton sourced from India is also available in an unbleached oatmeal colour at additional cost.

100% Linen  – This is a natural linen fabric in white which achieves the best colour saturation/brightness with a lovely heavy feel (245gsm). Very textural/rustic look, great for designs with textural and tonal variation. Linen is more expensive. However, Linen is more durable and last longer. Average purse price range from $15-35. Note: Organic Linen is also available.

Belgian Cotton/Linen – is a great natural choice if you are looking for a heavy weight (260gsm) purse with bright colours and a consistently smooth surface. Comes in base colours in Oyster (greyish/white) or Oatmeal. Average purse price range from $17-37.

Cotton Canvas – is a great natural choice if you are looking for a very heavy weight (295gsm) purse with good strong colours and a smooth surface. Comes in White as a base colour. Average purse price range from $17-37.

Note: for your first order it is best to order the minimum quantity to ensure you are happy with the final artwork, material and colour rendition.

5. UNDERSTAND THE DELIVERY TIMEFRAMES AND COSTS OF FREIGHT (APPROXIMATES)

  • Ready to ship within 14-30 days of placing order
  • Christmas – order must be confirmed by October 20th for delivery mid November.
  • Express orders are available at additional cost. Please enquire.

6. NOW YOU ARE READY TO UNDERSTAND THE ORDER PROCESS

Setting up your artwork

Artwork needs to be supplied in print-ready format:

  • We accept Artwork file types:
    • Organic Cotton – PNG and JPEG only.
    • Linen | Linen/Cotton | Cotton Canvas – TIFF and JPEG only
  • Colour mode: RGB
  • File size:
    • Cotton – 200 – 300 dpi .
    • Linen – 150 – 300 dpi (pixels/inch)
  • Artwork must fit into:
    • Cotton – a 120mm wide x 180mm rectangle.
    • Linen – provide artwork in same dimension as purse ordered, but include 1cm seam allowance.
  • Cotton – Any areas that are 100% white will be printed as transparent. Please note that off-whites and light tints of colour will be visible on the product. If your artwork sits on a tinted background (even if it’s a light grey or off-white) it will show up in printing. If you don’t want a rectangle to show, please make sure your background is completely white or that your illustration is cut out and has a transparent background (save it as a PNG file).
  • All Text: All fonts must be outlined, converted to paths or rasterised.
  • Samples are available to check colour, fabric, print renditions:
    • Cotton – Please check with us the price.
    • Linen – A 20x20cm sample for $15+gst & postage
  • Screen Colour to Print Colour – please note that all computer monitors are calibrated differently, colour will vary from screen to screen and therefore in the final print also. Colours will also look more vibrant on a computer screen than on material.

If you would like us to double-check your file in photoshop that it meets specifications and make minor changes to your files we charge $15+gst.

If you need help in setting up your artwork or need help in correcting your files and artwork (if these have not bee corrected professionally, we are happy to format your artwork to the correct specifications for a setup fee of $50.00 per hour.

What is the process for ordering?

Develop your idea and artwork! Is your design going to be a single colour or a full colour artwork?

We are happy to assist you decide which artwork for tea-towels will work better and potentially which may sell better.

Do you want the artwork edge-to-edge or are you happy with the artwork being in the centre?

Once you have decided, contact us by email with your design which follows the design guidelines above. Ideally, you will have used a graphic designer to help you get the design into a suitable electronic file. If not, it may need additional work to get the file print ready.

We will assist with minor work at no cost in helping your design be ready for print. However, If there is major work required we may charge a fee for this, but we will let you know this beforehand.

Now, select the material you wish to print on. Different material will have a different look and make artwork colours look different. Think about whether the material fits within your current range, look and brand.

Once the design is confirmed, you will need to decide on the quantity you would like to order.

We recommend ordering the minimum quantity allowed in the first order (where there are no sample orders available) to ensure you are happy with the material, colours and print. You can order larger sizes once you are happy with your design.

Once you’re happy with the overall design, cost and estimated time for manufacture and shipping, we are ready to prepare for production and organise payment.

We may send you an artwork proof for you to approve prior to production. After the proof is confirmed, we will invoice you and you then pay and once the payment is received we go into production.

Once completed, they will ship your products direct to your door usually through Australia Post or by Courier. To protect your shipment please consider taking out insurance.

To get ready to sell you need to do the following:

  • Add any swing tags, product packaging and information for the product.
  • Organise high-quality photographs (we can also help with this)
  • Work out the cheapest and safest way to ship the product based on its weight, dimensions and fragility.
  • Work out the best way to gift-wrap the product, so it looks beautiful.
  • Work out your TOTAL costs of production and set a wholesale price including the above costs and gst.
  • Set a retail price. (if you are having trouble in this area we can help)
  • Write your product blurbs, descriptions, attributes and specifications.
  • Decide who is your customer and who would buy/use/receive your product.

Now you should be ready to sell it!!
