Mamarra (Small Leaved Paperbark) Clay and Ochre Scrub Bar is traditionally used for soothing the mind and relieving aches and pains. We use soft white Kaolin Clay for our Scrub bar.
We pick Mamarra (Small Leaved Paperbark) leaves from swampy areas. We boil the leaves and traditionally use these for treating minor colds, headaches, stress and muscle tension.
We add the dusty colors of our own Groote Eylandt Ochres and/or crushed leaves, bark, seeds and/or flowers to make our Scrub that will exfoliate and revitalize tired skin. We also add Lemon Oils to help to soothe the body and soul. Some variances in colour may occur with each bar due to the different ochres and clays collected from natural sources prior to manufacturing and the handmade nature of the bars.
