Dumburumba (Native Sandalwood) Clay and Ochre Scrub Bar is an exfoliating bar that is used to soothe minor skin irritations, and exfoliate and revitalise tired skin.
Soft white Kaolin Clay us used for our Clay & Ochre Scrub. We hand pick through a wild-harvest process Dumburumba (Native Sandalwood) leaves from the trees that grow in the bush and at the beach in Groote Eylandt. We boil the leaves and traditionally use them for treating sores, cuts, stings and skin rashes. We add the dusty colours of our own Groote Eylandt Ochres and/or crushed leaves, bark, seeds and/or flowers to make our clay scrubs to exfoliate and revitalise tired skin.
Some variances in colour may occur with each bar due to the different ochres and clays collected from natural sources prior to manufacturing and the handmade nature of the bars.
